Mai Yin Zheng Zhi and Danxi Shoujing are apocryp has of Huang Jizhi’s Ben Cao Quan Du of the Ming Dynasty and should be, of course, excluded

[TEXTUAL RESEARCH ON DANXI’ S LATER GENERATIONS]. LIU SHIJUE. chinese journal of medical history. 1998;28(2):107 (chi*).
This paper makes a research into the friends and relatives of Danxi’s later generations. For Danxi himself, he was born to a family of literati. His father was familiar with medicine, and in his maternal and his wife’s side, 6 persons from five generations were recorded in « Qi’s family scholars »; 4 persons from 2 generations from his brother-in-law Lu Ji, together with Danxi himself were recorded as « disciples of Baiyun ». Four persons from his sons and grandsons were medical workers. He learned neo-confucianism from Xu Qian, learned medicine from Luo Zhiti, all exerted influence on the formation of his academic idea. Among his friends were scholars like Song Lian, Dai Lian, Hu Han, Ye Yi, Zheng Taihe, and Taoist Du Ben. The atmosphere in which he lived was a civilized one which was indispensable for him to become a famous doctor.

[RESEARCH ON THE SCHOOL OF DANXI OF THE MING DYNASTY]. LIU YUWEI. chinese journal of medical history. 2001;31(3):165 (chi*).
Zhu Danxi, the founder of Danxi School, one of the four major schools of the Jin – Yuan dynasties, was famous for its Yin – nourishing theory. Clinically, it was adept in treating miscellaneous disorders, with the « the four – injury theory » as its theory for differentiation of Zheng. The medical thinking of Danxi is quite specific that it exerted its clinical and academic influence mostly in the Ming dynasty, with so many schools followed him. Though research on its origin and evolution, direct followers like Dai Sigong, Wang LU, Liu chun at al. not only totally inherited Danxi’s medical idea, but also became the receiver of his academic experiences. Indirect followers (study perronally) reached its peak in the Ming dynasty – They inherited Danxi’s experience and further developed to supplement his theory. For other physicians partly following Danxi’s experience also emerged and applied his academy for further development of medical theory.

[ON ZHU DANXI’S « MOTION-STATIC IDEOLOGY » AND CONFUCIAN PHILOSOPHY]. SHANG LI. shanghai journal of traditional chinese medicine. 2002;36(6):37 (chi*).
This paper argues that Zhu Danxi ‘ s  » cosmological motion static ideology »,  » yin-yang motion-static ideology » and  » Xianghuo notion-static ideology  » have subtle relations with Confucian philosophy. The yin-yang motion-static condition and xianghuo notion-static condition can be derived from the cosmological movement. It follows that the relation between physiological and Pathological Xianghuo and mind and disease, as well as the health regimen of keeping plain and pure heart and mind. These help the positive development of Chinese medicine.
