Eyssalet JM. Revue Française d'Acupuncture. 1996;87:19-29. The author refers to medical and taoist texts to examine the conception of a human living being, its unsubstantial origin, and the way it emerges. With the aspiration, the drive to reach the level of anterior heavens as a background, the life of the individualized being is substantiated by a creative pulse, by a lasting relationship which originates in desire itself. The awareness of the centres of gravity of consciousness conditions one's body. The life of the individualized being is generated by Heavens and Earth through energy and movement. Life springs from their union. Both, one's inmost nature and the development of one's individual life evolve in connexion with the extraordinary meridians, the chest and the pelvis.
