Professor Cheng Shide (1919-), male, of the Han nationality, comes from Nantong , Jiangsu Province. He is a distinguished traditional Chinese medicine scholar, Nei Jing expert, and a Ph. D. instructor in the basic theories of Chinese Medicine major, a senior and famous physician with apprentice, and enjoys the special subsidy of the government. He has devoted himself for years to education, research, and clinical practice in the basic theories of Chinese medicine and Nei Jing. His main field of research is in the yin-yang theory of Nei Jing. A research program he has been responsible for wins the city-level science and technology achievement award. He is an editor with 13 publications and textbooks, and has published more than 20 theses.
