LUO SHIRONG

Luo Shirong (1920-)
Luo Shirong, a native of Hefei, Anhui Province, was born in 1920. Starting from 1936, he learned acupuncture and moxibustion from his uncle, Dr. Luo Maoxun for five years. From 1943, he practised medicine in Hangzhou, and in 1958, he attended the United Clinic (the Present-day Hangzhou Special Hospital of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Moxibustion). He has practised acupuncture and moxibustion for over forty years. He emphasizes the syndrome-differentiation and treatment of the Du Meridians. He, published Method of Spreading Moxibustion in Treating Bi-Syndrome of Cold-damp Type. Now he is the honorary president of the Hangzhou Special Hospital of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Moxibustion, the standing member of Zhejiang Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion.
