[CLINICAL STUDY ON TREATMENT OF THE CHRONIC CARRIER OF HBSAG WITH POINT-INJECTION OF HUANGQI INJECTIO]. WANG XINYAO ET AL. chinese acupuncture and moxibustion. 1999;19(4):223 (chi*).

72 cases of chronic carriers of HBsAg were treated with point-injection of Huang Qi Injectio, and 20 cases were treated with intermuscular injection of Huang Qi Injectio and 19 cases received point-injection of saline which were used as control group. Results indicated that the rate of HBsAg returning negative was 27.69 % ~ 37. 5 % and the rate of HBsAg returning negative was 70.00 % ~ 84 .21% in the group of point-injection of Huang Qi, the therapeutic effect being superior to those of the control groups (P < 0.01 or 0. 05) . The therapeutic effects in the treatment group were superior to those in the control groups 6 months and 12 months after treatment. Comparision between short-term and long-term therapeutic effects on various indexes of serology of hepatitis virus in the treatment group did not find obvious differences, indication that the therapeutic effect in the treatment is more
