Dr. Chen Decheng, born on March 8, 1963 in China. is a professor at the Institute of Acupuncture & Moxibustion of the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and is also the vice-director of the Acupoint Study Committee of the China Association of Acupuncture & Moxibustion. Dr. Chen Decheng studied in Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 1994 to July 1997, majoring in Acupuncture & Moxibustion for a Doctor Degree in Medicine. His supervisor was Professor Qiu Maoliang, one of the must famous specialists of acupuncture in China. Dr. Chen Decheng finished his research in medicine on the following topics: (I) Study on the single point therapy. (2) Clinical and experimental study on the treatment of diabetes mellitus by acupuncture. (3) Clinical and experimental study on chronic atrophic gastritis treated by acupoint injection therapy.
